Dr Lynda Priest

I grew up in Central/West Otago on a sheep and cattle farm and attended boarding school in Gore. Attending Otago University I obtained my medical degree and then moved to Hamilton with my husband. I have three children, all boys, who play football and cricket. I enjoy watching their sport, gardening and spending time with family and friends. I have lived in the area now since 1993, worked at Waikato Hospital for two and a half years and have worked in general practice since 1996. I have also worked with many of our local specialists. My medical interests are broad and include family health, paediatrics, gynaecology and preventive health. My medical degrees are FRNZCGP and MBChB (Otago). One of my goals is to work alongside my patients to develop treatment plans which work for them.
