Dr Tarun Sharma

Bula! My name is Tarun Sharma. I was born and raised in Fiji, and completed my medical training at the Fiji School of Medicine in 2000. After graduating, I worked in Fiji as a junior doctor before moving to New Zealand in 2004. Initially I worked as house surgeon at Waikato Hospital, and after gaining more experience I decided to move into general practice. I have been working here at Tui Medical for the past seven years. I have special interests in the areas of acute care, paediatrics, geriatrics, and the management of fractures. In my spare time I enjoy gardening, watching sports, reading, and teaching.
