MA Chamika Kasthruisinghe

I am an overseas doctor and studied for a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery at the University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka, before continuing on to gain postgraduate qualifications in Family Medicine. My medical experience covers a wide range of specialties including Family Medicine, Radiology, Ophthalmology, Emergency medicine, Paediatrics, and Surgery. Since relocating to New Zealand I continue to work towards gaining registration with the NZ Medical Council. I'm so lucky to be with Tui Medical, as a Medical Assistant. This experience will bring me a better understanding of the New Zealand Health Care System.
